A musical cartoon. This one has a long backstory. As for the history of the song — look up "Casey Jones" on Wikipedia (in Utesov's version the name is spelled with a "Z", "KeyZie", from the German). This unusual-for-the-USSR song was played until the grooves wore out. In short, it's the song of my childhood. And mine alone. Because nobody else knew it. For a long time I kept trying to fit it in somewhere or sing it somehow, but it never worked out. And I realized that sooner or later I had to cover it, or else. . In Utesov's original version I only changed one line about the rails. Because in the original American song it was exactly that way.
