The first day of school ensues with Korky being the big hit of the friends after he tells them how he's clean for the first time. Him and Cicely get along really well and in the end share a kiss. Jared goes out for the paper, but might not get it after the editor; a new sophmore doesn't care for him. (guest Luis Ayana as Carl Arana), but Jared vows to make it, and in the end he does. Theresa feels like she doesn't fit in after being gone all summer, and is too jealous of Charlotte and Billy's newfound fame. Anna and Colby try to survive a whole school day without there significant others, and after contemplating ditching, they decide to stick it out. Brody and Gaby work out their friendship; Sarah feels like she can't spend time with Blayke or Coulier will get jealous, but she wants too. Cicely doesn't feel like she's fitting in, but Korky tells her to get used to everyone. Meanwhile, Korky doesn't fully feel involved in the group.
