An officer, a young captain Ander, arrives at the tent camp on assignment from headquarters; he does not accept the chaos and freedom among the “hairy” fighters, who look like mercenaries. The reliable Sergeant Gez and the experienced Corporal Gredo, with whom the sergeant has an old enmity, are assigned to Ander's special group.
