As the 31 March 2024 local elections are approaching, the race for the headman has heated up in Pirsultanlı Village. The rivalry of the candidates competing for headman is not just a political race; it turns into a power struggle that deeply affects the people of the village, from kinship ties to friendships. The most important question in the village is “who will collapse and who will be collapse.” The film deals with the cultural codes of local politics, belonging and power relations in an ‘observant’ manner through the election of a village headman.
