The Fall
A mountaineer is cultivating his passion at high altitude, when he is surprised by a banknote... then by a second... and a third. Sniffing the opportunity, he follows the wake of money and discovers that it comes from a plane scattered among the peaks. The search for the treasure drags him into a fierce clash with other contenders, willing to do anything to grab the loot. Adopting the typical dynamics of the Battle Royale genre, the film turns into a parable about human greed: the climbers forget the conquest of the summit, to turn towards the conquest of money, transforming the alpine scenario into a deadly arena where profit matters more than life.
