Secluded in a cabin in the woods, an elderly woman named Truus leads a quiet life. Her lonely day is rudely interrupted when a wounded hunter, Dimitri, comes begging for help. The visit takes Truus by surprise. Ultimately, she has no choice but to call in the hunter. Dimitri immediately takes charge and turns the house upside down to save himself. While Dimitri tries to tend to his injuries, Truus's distrust grows. His stories about a hunting accident seem to be false, and the tension between them mounts. When the situation escalates and Dimitri becomes increasingly threatening, Truus must make a choice. In a moment of fear and determination, the truth becomes visible.
