Hui Suk-yu rescued Gao Jian, and the two developed feelings for each other. However, their relationship was sabotaged by Suk-yu's twin sister Suk-man, who hated men. Suk-man believed that Suk-yu had caused her lifelong loneliness and made Suk-yu promise never to leave her. After Suk-man learned the truth, Suk-yu decided to leave, but Suk-man was angry that her sister had broken her promise and locked her up. Gao Jian arrived and pointed a gun at Suk-man.
