After fourteen years in the Major League Baseball, Goro returns to Japan because of a surgery that forced him to quit his life as a pitcher.
He prepares to restart his baseball career as a fielder. His family struggles with his decisions; especially his daughter Izumi, who doesn't know enough about her father to understand why he is so absent from their lives.
Goro will stop at nothing until he's in the game once again; everything is now for the sake of the only gift he has to offer his children: Baseball.
