Alexey is wounded. He tells Klimenko that she is a good sniper and gives her his gun. Also asks that she survive. The next day, Shura comes to his girls in the hospital and they say that they are all being sent to the rear. Alexei is also sent to the rear due to injury.
A new group of girls is given under Klimenko’s command. Soviet troops advanced 200-250 km to the West. Parts of the Kalinsk region and Smolensk region were cleared of German occupiers. They laid the foundation for the liberation of Belarus. 7 enemy divisions were defeated, and 14 suffered heavy defeat.
Moscow. One year later. Alexey is almost completely recovering. Klimenko survived. Her father was acquitted.
