All seems well in the village of Thornton until Mrs Bennett finds out her husband is having an affair, Mr Newman is found dead hanging from a tree and a six-year-old boy goes missing. Incriminating letters have been sent to all three households and Diamond takes on the case of finding out who is sending them while Paige and Cramer join forces to look for the missing boy.
