Saint Paisios: From Farasa to Heaven - Season 2 Episode 1
Father Paisios gives his struggle, as a monk now, in the Monastery of Filotheos, on Mount Athos. His mother is also fighting her own "battle" as she tries to reconcile her deep faith in God and her love for her son. In Father Paisios, the desire to go to the most deserted place on Mount Athos, Katounakia, and to practice there is growing. But a vision of the Virgin Mary leads him back to Konitsa, to the Stomio Monastery, to renovate the monastery burnt down by the Germans. So, in July 1958, he returned to Konitsa and without passing by his house he went directly to the monastery.
