Fernando Landavere

Fernando Miguel Landavere Vergara (Callao, 1982) is a Peruvian filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer, a cinephile, and an enthusiast of history and art. He studied Communication Sciences with a specialization in Audiovisual Production at the University of Lima and holds a Diploma in Screenwriting and Cinematographic Language from the University of Baja California in Tijuana. With 18 years of experience in audiovisual production, he has led photography, video, and institutional documentary projects for important organizations such as the United Nations, USAID, Cálidda, El Comercio, and the Regional Government of Junín. His documentary works (non-commercial) include titles such as Sentidos de la selva (Senses of the Jungle), Capital social (Social Capital), Pucará, and Miskahuasi, highlighting his expertise in field recording and production in demanding and challenging areas, such as the Peruvian rainforest. Ceviche marks his debut in commercial documentary filmmaking.
