Isaac Halsted

Isaac Halsted (born July 24, 2008) is a rising filmmaker known for his distinct style of independent high school filmmaking. He is the co-founder of Hildegard Pictures, alongside his longtime directing partner, Oliver Thomas. Halsted first gained recognition with "Therapy for Mr. Spears" (2023), which earned Second Place at the OKC Academy Awards. He later co-directed "The Bus Ride Trilogy" (2026), and "The Heir of Hildegard" (2026), in which the latter won two OKC Academy Awards for Best Picture, receiving both the Judges' Choice and Audience Choice awards. Through Hildegard Pictures, Halsted and Thomas have collaborated on a variety of independent productions, developing a filmmaking style characterized by ambitious storytelling, creative problem-solving, and cinematic visuals despite limited budgets.
