Sean Mowry
Sean is a filmmaker from Morristown, NJ and currently based in Queens, New York. His short documentary All the Queens Houses, which he directed and edited, is set to premiere at DOC NYC in 2025. The project is a photographic exploration of Queens’ unconventional architecture and reveals the borough’s beauty and history through the eyes of an architect.
He has worked as an assistant editor on documentary, lifestyle, and food series for PBS, Showtime, Food Network and HGTV. Before that he was development manager at NorthSouth Productions for 4 years, where he helped build the documentary series division, NoSo Films. He developed pitches that were sold to HBO, Discovery+, and Channel 4.
