Germán Guevara

Germán Guevara is a pioneer of cinema in the Peruvian interior, where filmmaking has experienced a significant boom since the second half of the 1990s. The so-called "Regional Cinema Boom" has spread to other parts of Peru, including Puno, Huancayo, Cajamarca, Iquitos, Andahuaylas, Arequipa, and Trujillo. In total, around 150 films have been produced in approximately 15 years, and the trend continues to grow. Currently, Germán Guevara works as a radio announcer and hosts artistic events (primarily Andean music). In the 1980s, he appeared on television comedy programs such as "Quién soy yo papá" and "El enchufe," where he shared the screen with well-known figures in show business like Adolfo Chuiman, Efraín Aguilar, and Analí Cabrera. He also had a supporting role in the feature film "La boca del Lobo" (1988) by Francisco Lombardi.
