After Dr. Patricia Engel experienced a treatment error with a fatal outcome that was also covered up, she gave up her promising career as a doctor and became a lawyer. When she once again comes across a medical error in the clinic of her father, heart specialist Professor Brenner, of all people, she tries everything she can to save the patient.
